Welcome to Sapphire Class  

In Year 4 and 5, children have a fantastic opportunity to become more independent with their learning. They are immersed in rich curriculum experiences to practise and embed writing and oracy skills. Our classroom is language-centred and many subjects are brought together using golden threads so children can do more and remember more.

Across all subjects, children are encouraged to use resources independently to support their development.  

Key Information

• Year 4 children will complete their Multiplication Check in June 2024.
• All children will learn to play a musical instrument.
• Year 4 children will attend swimming lessons.
