I am from Cornwall and love living here. There are so many awesome things to do right on our doorstep and when I’m at home I can usually be found filling my time with beach visits (I love being in the sea!) or sampling food from various cafes in the area. I have a lifelong love of live music and festivals which sees me travelling all over the place to see my favourite acts. Life is an exciting adventure and I do my best to seize every opportunity that comes my way.

With this in mind I try to get away and explore the world as often as possible. I’ve spent time in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, America and Europe. I love nothing more than finding myself far from home on the cusp of an exciting adventure! I also adore food and global cuisine so when I’m away I always take part in a local cooking class so I can leave my trip with some new, useful skills. 

I am now in my fourth year at St Day & Carharrack and I love being part of our amazing school community. I love my job because each day is completely different. Every time I teach a subject, no matter how well I think I know it, a child will show me a different perspective so we are all learning together and I find that really exciting.
