Wk9 Headteacher School Update and School Photos 04.11.2020

4th November 2020

Dear Families

We hope you all had an enjoyable half term.

As you will now be aware, schools will remain open. Once we have received clear government guidance for schools I will be in touch if there is anything further we can be doing as a school community that we have not already put in place. Staff are now wearing face coverings in public places in the school building (outside of their class bubble) and we ask for parent support in following government and school procedures so that we can continue to keep every class open. Please bear with us if we have staff shortages at times. Regardless of personal opinions on this, a big shout out to the staff team, for putting their own worries aside and continuing to be here for our children.

Please continue to inform us if you have any Covid-19 symptoms or concerns and we will be able to discuss matters with you in confidence. Thank you for the continued support and your calls to clarify anything you are unsure about - this really helps us all to get it right. Each individual circumstance is unique and by working together we can continue to protect each other. Please remember hands, face, space if talking to members of staff outside the building. Regular handwashing routines continue in school.

We made it safely through the first half term with many successes and lessons learned - due to the great teamwork and consideration for everyone - by following our own bespoke school risk assessment and making adjustments that we felt were necessary. We have been ahead of government advice at every turn. We thank you for your support and we will continue to follow the systems we have in place.

INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS - TOMORROW!

We are taking advantage of the good weather and have managed to book Tempest for school photos. With the sun shining all day, these will be taken outside and back in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, we are not able to have family photos taken at this time.

Many thanks
