Important - Remote Learning + Free New Books for every child

10th February 2021

Dear Families

If you have not had chance to do so yet, we would be very grateful if everyone could complete the very short 'surveymonkey' of 5 multiple questions by 9am tomorrow morning.

The email was sent yesterday at 14:34, to each year group, from 'secretary' - entitled 'Experience of Remote Learning'.

Your views are very important to us and we will act on what you say if enough of you are saying the same thing. Please have your say - this is something we encourage our children to do when in school. We can only bring about the changes you wish for if we hear from you. There are two further questions where you can leave additional comments. We are genuinely interested to hear from you, to capture how this experience has been for you and your family.

Additionally, please find the attached letter giving you a half-hour time slot on Monday 22nd February - to collect your free books for your child to learn from. Please aim to stick to this time slot for year groups to ensure safe social distancing. If you have more than one child, please come to the slot for your oldest child and we will have all your books together. If it would help you to familiarise yourself with the books over half term, for your own knowledge, please contact your class teacher directly to arrange collection on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Children must not start the books until February 22nd.

School Closure:

If your child is in school tomorrow - please ensure additional warm layers (dress for the outdoors) - it is cold in the school building and we have had problems with the heating this week. If the weather changes overnight, please check your email and/or the school website before setting off, to check if we are still open.

One more newsletter to follow at the end of the week...

Many thanks
