Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) including Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)

Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) Curriculum Intent Statement

Our aim at St Day and Carharrack Community School is to develop successful learners who have the qualities and attributes they need to manage their lives, fulfil their academic potential, and to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society, both now and in the future. Life is full of choices.

PSHE enables and develops decision making skills and the confidence to make the right decision, at the right time. PSHE education is integral to a planned programme of learning which helps our children to make not good progress, but leave us as confident individuals and responsible citizens who can lead happy, healthy, safe and fulfilling lives.
