We wish to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated graduate to join our friendly team. We are committed to outdoor learning, emotional wellbeing and providing exciting learning opportunities to engage all children. We are looking for a committed individual who will be determined in providing the very best opportunities for every child in our care while ensuring learning is engaging, enjoyable and exciting - leading to excellent outcomes.
The successful candidate will be a caring and creative individual with a commitment to life-long learning. Playfulness and energy to motivate every child is essential. SEN experience, RWI and TIS training is beneficial. English, Maths (Grade 6 and above) and IT qualifications are required to support and challenge all our learners. You will strive to remain up to date with current practice and be committed to the belief that every child can and will succeed. A key part of this role will be undertaking intervention work, including Maths, Reading and ensuring the welfare and well being of our children. It is essential that you are able to follow and adapt planning to meet individual needs, assess outcomes and acknowledge next steps in partnership with the class teacher.
All successful candidates must have high expectations and a range of strategies in positive behaviour management and restorative justice relationships.
Safeguarding:
- We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before an appointment can be confirmed. The successful candidate will be required to disclose all convictions and cautions, including those that are spent
- Understand your responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding and child protection and how to highlight an issue by reporting concerns immediately to the Headteacher
- Remain vigilant to ensure all students are protected from potential harm
- Work within the requirements of Data Protection at all times
