Week beginning 19th October

We have had great fun and super learning making our Titanic story books and trying to make a Titanic boat that would float. This was part of our science learning about displacement, the children were fascinated by how this massive boat stayed afloat - until it hit the iceberg!
The children have enjoyed PE with Mr Ayre who certainly puts them through their paces - fitness levels are rising already. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather and have been able to be outside as much as possible.
We have begun our new class text: I was there, a diary of a child that was on the RMS Titanic. It is inspiring the children with their own stories. We have also enjoyed Revolting Rhymes and other poems.
Lots of timetable practise this week and we will be able to see the whole school Here We Are tapestry.
