Topaz Class-Yr3

Welcome to the Summer Term in Topaz class. We are focusing on geography this term and looking at Cornwall, and all it has to offer. We will be starting by looking at St Day and Carharrack and then venturing further afield to look at famous parts of Cornwall, and some of its famous inhabitants. We will create birds eye view maps and learn about different countries of the world.

We have some super trips planned across this term, including trips around our local area, and to a nearby beach

Dont forget to check the school twitter feed to see what we're learning as a class on a weekly basis!
In 2019 we are learning about a great number of new topics and concepts. We are beginning to look at magnets and how they work, and as we head towards summer will look at light, both natural and artificial. We will measure shadows, and look at shadow puppetry
